Kotor is one of the most beautiful cities in Montenegro, located in the heart of Boka, at the bottom of the mountain Lovcen. Kotor is a fairytale town which one can enter by three gates (Main, North and South Gates). There are various legends about them that testify to the turbulent past and the historical value of this area. The main or Sea Gate dates from the 16th century, and was built during the time of the Venetian provider Bernard Renier.<\/p>\n

Around the Old Town, which is in the shape of a triangle, there are walls 5 km long, as well as the hill of St. John where the fortress of San Giovanni is located, which dates back to the Illyrian era. This part of Kotor is adorned with special beauty and stories. Today it is full of restaurants and taverns where you can always eat fresh fish.
